MY REVIEW
Unchosen was a very quick read for me, I couldn’t put it down. It was fascinating entering the world of Unchosen and it’s the FIRST reaper story I’ve ever read so for me it was unique and refreshing. When you have magic, reapers, necromancy, zombies, ghouls and more rolled into one book every page is intense!
This is book #2 in The Reaper Diaries series and follows 16 year old Molly and her life as a newly discovered reaper and ……. zombie maker! There’s tons of mystery surrounding Molly and her family and the more you discover about her family, and her abilities the more in love you’ll become with this series. I was laughing at the quick wit and humor and don’t tell anyone but I was teary-eyed as well.
There are quite a few scenes that were written beautifully. I seriously couldn’t imagine Steven ‘freaking’ Spielberg creating a more vivid, gut wrenching scenes in my mind.
You don’t have to read the first book, Undead before you read Unchosen but I recommend that you do. I think the story will flow better that way but that’s my opinion. I feel that way for all series books. I did read Undead too and OMG I can’t wait for the next installment!
