We are fans of fabulous authors, we don’t get paid to review books, we just enjoy reading and blogging about them. Our reviews are honest and from the heart. We will automatically post reviews at Goodreads and Amazon/B&N. If you’d like a review posted elsewhere just let us know.

3 stars = we liked it

4 stars = we really liked it

5 stars= we loved it

Please note, 5 stars are not given out willy nilly. For a book to get a 5 star review it will have had to touch and move our souls on the deepest of levels. Maybe we laughed a lot, or cried a lot, but somehow it moved us above and beyond other stories.

When my nose isn’t stuck in a book I’m outside snapping pictures, entertaining my cats and great niece, or watching my favorite shows on the SyFy channel, or watching movies.

Some of my favorite authors are: J.R. Ward, Kim Harrison, Dianna Love, Hildie McQueen and Sherrilyn Kenyon. After reading the Twilight series I craved more vampire so I stumbled upon the Vampire Library online and found the Dark Hunter series which blew me away, I was hooked instantly.

My fellow blogger, Deanna, introduced me to J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood and once again I was blown away. After devouring all the BDB available I was introduced to Kim Harrison’s the Hallows series and – KABOOM – blown away! I absolutely love the way Kim has incorporated vampires, witches, pixies, and fairies. I’ve also recently read Lauren Kate’s The Fallen series and was in awe of her take on angels and demons. While the past few years I’ve been hooked on paranormal romance, it’s not the only thing I read. I enjoy biographies, the Left Behind series and so much more.

I’m also a registered blogger for Coastal Magic Con 2014 in Daytona Beach, Florida so check it out! It’s a great event that readers, bloggers, and authors get to hang out, do guest panels and so much more! COASTAL MAGIC

I’m a stay at home mom of three kids and have been happily married for 23 years. When I am not carting my kids places or pretending to exercise to better my health, I am picturing short stories in my head or reading my latest find.

Currently I am enthralled with Paranormal Romance: Sherrilyn Kenyon, JR Ward, Kim Harrison, Larissa Ione…I could go on and on. Really, what could be better than an vampire, were, fairy or pixie? I do enjoy other genres and authors as well. When I need a good laugh, Janet Evonovich’s Stephanie Plum Series always fits the bill.

I am always looking for something new to read and always open to suggestions. There is nothing better on a cold winters day then curling up under a blanket with a good book and my dog on my lap.
