Her memory is blank.  Her future’s in question.  Her power is dangerous.

Waking up in an unknown world, Rayen learns only that she’s seventeen and is hunted by a sentient beast.  Terrified that she may never learn who she really is or find her way back to her home, she’s captured in a land that is at times familiar even if the people and the structures seem alien.  When local law enforcement delivers her to a private school, she’s labeled as a Native American runaway, and Rayen discovers a secret with deadly repercussions.  Forced into an unlikely alliance with a computer savvy street punk and a gifted oddball girl to save their world – and the future – Rayen finds the key to an identity that no girl would want and a strange seventeen-year-old boy who is as deadly as he is attractive.

I found this story to be  enchanting and full of suspense.  Every page continued to unravel the mystery of our teenage heroine, Rayen, and her unlikely companions.  If you enjoy YA books this story will satisfy your craving for chilling adventures.

Honeymoon To Die For by Dianna Love

105This is book three in the Slye Temp series.

Former Slye agent RYDER VAN DYKE is facing conviction for a murder he didn’t commit. When his last hope for freedom disintegrates, the FBI offers a deal – a commuted sentence if Ryder helps them nail a deadly criminal … his father.

FBI analyst BIANCA BRADY wants justice for the death of her best friend. Now all she needs is proof that the Van Dyke patriarch is guilty of funding terrorist operations. She’s willing to do whatever it takes to make Van Dyke criminals pay, or so she thinks.  But there’s a catch.
The only way to get an FBI agent inside the family compound and Van Dyke Enterprises is as Ryder’s legal wife. Ryder has his own plan – to prove his innocence or use his Special Forces skills to disappear.  But deadly secrets, an international security threat and a killer with a vendetta force Ryder to make the ultimate choice – give up his freedom or risk the life of the woman who’s stolen his heart.

Really, what can I say. Ms. Love had me sucked in after the first few pages. How could I not when a gorgeous leading man: Ryder, in jail for a murder he says he didn’t commit, makes you root for him from the start. Bianca, naive and inexperienced, learns a lot about her self and the world is not as black and white as she believes it to be. Ms. Love weaves twists and turns into her story, layering with sub plots.  You think you know “who done it” till you turn the page and she plants another seed of doubt.

Pick up this book, you won’t regret it. It has suspense and romance and for me it made me want to smack a couple characters because they are such horrible people in general. Ms. Love takes the time to develop the personalities of all her characters, large or small. She keeps you engrossed in the story from cover to cover.

Honeymoon To Die For is available in print and ebook. You can read more about Dianna Love and Honeymoon To Die For at her website.

Book Review: Nowhere Safe by Dianna Love

Thanks to a traitor,Slye Temp agent Josh Carrington should have died during the blown UK mission, but he didn’t. Scars fade and nightmares can be managed, but he’ll never forget watching an innocent woman die because she trusted him. Tempted by the best, he sticks to Personal Rule Number One: Never mix business with pleasure.

Slye Temp sends Josh to uncover a leak in a DEA task force…a mole in league with the traitor who betrayed the UK team. A deadly shipment is bound for the US and nothing will stop Josh from taking down this mole, blocking the shipment, and nabbing the traitor. Not even Trish Jackson, hardheaded sister of his #1 DEA suspect.

A faceless stalker has turned Trish’s life into a living nightmare and threatens to kill anyone who helps her, including Josh, the new man on her brother’s task force who has planted both unwelcome feet in the middle of her world and refuses to leave. The closer Josh gets to the twisted truth, the more he struggles to keep Trish out of harm’s way–and his bed–but the sultry firecracker gets under his skin like no other woman, forcing him to question everything, starting with Rule Number One.

My Review:

I have to say I fell in love with the characters in this book. Trish is a sassy, sexy, southern belle; and Josh is one dead sexy hunk. I don’t know about anyone else but one of my favorite parts in a book is the romantic dance between two characters. And the dance in this book is scorching hot. The intricate detail that Dianna weaves onto the pages is no less than impressive, you’d think she was former CIA, or FBI! This story is chock full of action, white hot romance, shocking twists and intelligence.

On a very personal note I found myself really connecting with Trish, who is an alcoholic and has a very protective brother named Zane (you have to read his book, Last Chance to Run). I have a sister who’s also an alcoholic, and has the same name; and considering how over protective I am of my little sister this book really hit home for me on several occasions. The way Dianna wrote Trish’s situation on being an alcoholic was very spot on. Through out the book I kept nodding and “yepping” to her reactions to situations. I love that Zane never gave up on his sister. Until the day I die I know I’ll never give up on mine.

Now I just have to wait for the next Slye Temp romantic thriller: Honeymoon to Die For.

Book Review: Last Chance to Run by Dianna Love

I was hooked on this romantic thriller at the first chapter, I could not put this book down, I just had to find out the fate of Angel and Zane. The chemistry between them was sizzling. Angel is a fiesty young woman who has had a lifetime of tragedy at such a young age. Zane is a hunk with a good heart, ready to do whatever it takes to survive. I loved the non stop action of this compelling story. Every page is filled with flying bullets, explosions when you least expect it, stolen treasure, murder, torture, leaving you with the anxiety will they make it out alive? Once again Dianna has thrilled my suspense taste buds with an extra dash of spicy romance.

I’ve read the Belador and Bad Agency series prior to Last Chance to Run and this was a refreshing break from the paranormal romance books that I’ve been reading as of late. I can’t wait to read Dianna’s next book, Nowhere Safe.
